Tax office Karlsruhe
A modern administrative centre with space for 300 employees was built on Durchlacher Allee in Karlsruhe. The finely structured ornamental concrete façade which characterises the architectural design is made from double-shell prefabricated decorative concrete elements. In terms of urban development, the six-storey building with its vegetated eco-roof forms a new connecting axis between the college of music to the south and the Oststadt, and blends elegantly into the courtyard of the police headquarters and residential buildings from the Wilhelminian era.
