Kombilösung Karlsruhe
The Kombilösung (combined solution) in Karlsruhe is an infrastructure project to develop the tram network while eliminating the tram tracks from the pedestrian zone in the city centre. The project includes underground tram tunnels, seven underground stops, some with direct access to adjacent shops, and an additional tram line south of the pedestrian zone, which will in turn contribute to the development of the south of the city centre.
