Alter Mainzer Tunnel Mainz
The two sections of the Alter Mainzer Tunnel are located between Hauptbahnhof and Südbahnhof. To improve the traffic connection between Mainz, Worms and Mannheim/Ludwigshafen, the tunnels had to be widened by about 1.5 m.
