Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Dietmann With retroactive effect to 1 September 2015, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Dietmann has been appointed as a director at KREBS+KIEFER Ingenieure GmbH in Darmstadt. Mr Dietmann will have managerial responsibility for the Fire Safety Department at our Darmstadt location with immediate effect.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Dietmann With retroactive effect to 1 September 2015, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Dietmann has been appointed as a director at KREBS+KIEFER Ingenieure GmbH in Darmstadt. Mr Dietmann will have managerial responsibility for the Fire Safety Department at our Darmstadt location with immediate effect.

After studying safety engineering, focusing on fire safety and explosion prevention, Mr Dietmann worked first of all as a fire safety engineer for a property insurance company and subsequently managed the Fire Safety Engineering Department for a company specialising in this field.

He was managing director of this company since 2005 and in 2008 became director of the Fire Safety Division in a globally active services company. While there, he added several German locations to the Fire Safety Division, which at the last count employed 30 employees with operations both within Germany and internationally.

Mr Dietmann is an officially appointed expert in the field of preventive fire safety, is a certified testing engineer in the field of preventive fire safety and lectures in preventive fire safety in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. In addition to numerous other lecturing activities, since 2003 he has provided expert guidance and moderation for the Construction Law and Fire Safety Symposium in Frankfurt, which attracts more than 1,000 participants.
