Promotion of the next generation of skilled workers

The diverse tasks in the construction industry require highly qualified specialists. It is important to inspire young people and to accompany them on their way into the profession in a qualified manner. KREBS+KIEFER is therefore committed to training and motivating young people in many ways.

The diverse tasks in the construction industry require highly qualified specialists. It is important to inspire young people and to accompany them on their way into the profession in a qualified manner. KREBS+KIEFER is therefore committed to training and motivating young people in many ways.

"As a link between training and practice, I can perhaps also convey enthusiasm for construction tasks in addition to authentic, technical content. Especially at universities of applied sciences, but also increasingly at universities, this practical relevance is promoted and highly appreciated by the students", explains Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jan Akkermann, Professor for Structural Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe and Managing Director of KREBS+KIEFER, recently in an interview with the VBI trade magazine "Beratende Ingenieure".

Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Richard Stroetmann combines excellent research with engineering training at the highest level as the holder of the professorship for steel construction at the TU Dresden, and at the same time as the Managing Director of KREBS+KIEFER, thus promoting innovative ability in the professional field.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Dietmann, Honorary Professor at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, and Prof. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Peter Stöwhaas, Honorary Professor at the Beuth University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, (both also Managing Directors of KREBS+KIEFER), are involved, like many other employees, in various teaching positions at universities and colleges, thus imparting their practical experience. KREBS+KIEFER contributes to further education and training events with expert contributions and has established the "KREBS+KIEFER Academy" within the company.

KREBS+KIEFER also promotes sustainable performance in the construction industry with the vocational training of draftsmen. Continuous and diverse offers of internships - not only for students but also for pupils - round off the training program. KREBS+KIEFER also offers Bachelor graduates a part-time employment during their studies.

Especially in civil engineering, it is important to be able to find your way around tasks, time and again. To learn new things. To develop further. Here, KREBS+KIEFER motivates and accompanies young people from their career idea up until to their established working life.
