The new office building "The Ship" is being built in the Ehrenfeld district of Cologne. Together with the historic building "Alte Wagenfabrik" it will form a modern and attractive campus.

Construction work began in spring 2018 and completion is scheduled for the first quarter of 2020. The completion of the building shell was celebrated on 14.05.2019 with the traditional topping-out ceremony.

The name "The Ship" was derived from the building architecture. From a bird's eye view, the new building is reminiscent of a sailing ship and makes this its vision. Together we want to set off for new shores, pick up speed and work hand in hand.

The concept is supported by modern spatial planning, which provides for over 500 workplaces and offers the right environment for every working situation with meeting rooms, creative labs and think tanks. On top of that, a number of advantages, such as the in-house day-care centre, roof garden, fitness studio and restaurant, are intended to provide the necessary balance. The building has been awarded the DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) Gold Certificate and thus meets the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
