Ground-breaking ceremony for the new building of the Leonardo da Vinci Gymnasium in Berlin

The new building of the five-storey high school is designed for around 900 pupils and is characterised by its open and bright design.

The school is a pilot project based around energy-optimised and sustainable construction of schools in the Federal state of Berlin. With a construction volume of around EUR 30 million, the new building of the Leonardo da Vinci Gymnasium represents an important component of the expansion of the infrastructure of the region of Neukölln.

In this project, KREBS+KIEFER is responsible for the structural engineering as well as for planning fire safety and the building physics.
