Our employees, Alexander Pöhler, Julia Lutz and Tanja Adelmann-Klug of KREBS+KIEFER Ingenieure GmbH Darmstadt successfully took part in comparison measurements for the sound insulation inspection authorities in accordance with the guidelines of the German metrology institute, Physikalisch Technischen Bundesanstalt (PTB) of the association of material testing institutions (Verband der Materialprüfanstalten e.V. (VMPA)) on 25/26 October 2016 at MFPA Leipzig.

This involved comparison measurements of impact sound, airborne sound and sounds from technical facilities within the building during a 2-day measurement survey, as well as inspections of devices and reports in conjunction with 4 other inspection bodies.

The expert analysis of the results was performed by an independent appraiser and a member of the specialist sound insulation commit-tee (construction and spatial acoustics) of the German Association for Acoustics e.V. (DEGA), who compared the data gained with a tolerance margin issued in advance by Physikalisch Technischen Bundesanstalt (PTB).

We are pleased to now be able to demonstrate the high quality of our structural/acoustic measurements and the aptitude of our staff.
